To provide car rental and beach equipment services, we collect:

  • Identity Data: Full name, Passport/ID number, and Date of Birth.

  • Driving Credentials: Driver’s license number and expiry date.

  • Contact Data: Phone number (WhatsApp), Email, and Hotel/Address in Lloret.

  • Financial Data: Payment details and transaction records processed via secure providers.

3. LEGAL COMPLIANCE & AUTHORITIES

In compliance with Spanish Law regarding citizen security and traveler registries (including Royal Decree 933/2021), your identity and contract details will be communicated to the Competent Law Enforcement and Government Authorities. This is a mandatory legal obligation for all vehicle rental activities in Spain.

4. INSURANCE & THIRD PARTIES

In the event of an accident, mechanical failure, or legal claim, your information will be shared with the corresponding insurance company providing coverage for the vehicle at that time, as well as with any involved third parties for the purpose of managing assistance and claims.

5. VEHICLE GEOLOCATION & TELEMATICS

Our vehicles may be equipped with telematics and GPS tracking systems. These systems are used exclusively for:

  • Security: Theft recovery and emergency assistance.

  • Maintenance: Monitoring mileage and vehicle health.

  • Compliance: Ensuring the vehicle remains within the authorized geographical limits of the rental agreement.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal data for the duration of the rental service and subsequently for the mandatory legal periods (generally 5 years) to comply with tax, accounting, and legal liability regulations in Spain. Digital copies of driving licenses are deleted once the legal liability period expires.

7. SHOPIFY PLATFORM

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to provide the Services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage and databases. By using this service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and stored outside of your country of residence.

8. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
